The Stand-Up Project (SUP) was co-founded in 2019 by Dr Zach Greig and Sam Hoath.

Dr. Greig (left) and Sam (right) have been best mates for over 20 years. Their enduring friendship and shared vision for student empowerment and community wellbeing have been the foundation upon which The Stand-Up Project was built, creating programs that support students, teachers, and families.

Dr. Greig brings nearly 20 years of experience in researching, teaching, and working with young people. He holds a PhD in community empowerment and has dedicated years to studying how Upstanders can enhance community wellbeing. As a frequent keynote speaker, Dr. Greig collaborates with thousands of young people, families, and educators across Australia and internationally to co-design solutions addressing the challenges young people face.

Sam Hoath, a former teacher and the Founding Director of TeamKids, leads an organisation that offers a range of programs for young people. Sam is passionate about improving the lives of young people through initiatives that empower them to reach their full potential.

SUP is a proud partner of TeamKids, one of Australia's largest before and after-school care providers. This collaboration aligns both organizations with the shared goal of improving outcomes for young people.
